Issue/Rationale

This project is listed in the 2015/2016 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.

The bid opening was held Thursday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m. The project had one (1) bidder(s) and all bidder(s) met the bid requirements.

Recommended Action
Award the construction contract to Gary S. Bailey, Inc., the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $135,320.00 and Alternate 1 in the amount of $39,740.00 for a total bid award of $175,060.00.

Financial Impact
These funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan
